Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to the online purchase of books from Amigos Book Distributors.
1. General
(a) We offer refunds and replacements in accordance with Indian law and the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
(b) Any benefits outlined in this Policy may be in addition to your rights under Indian Consumer Law.
(c) Before purchasing, please review this Policy to understand your rights and what you can expect from us if you are not satisfied with your order.
(d) Under Replacement, your order will be delivered in 3 - 5 business days.
2. Indian Consumer Law
(a) Under Indian Consumer Law:
(i) Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Indian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to:
• (A) Cancel your service contract with us; and
• (B) Receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value.
(ii) You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with goods or services does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified within a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the service contract, obtaining a refund. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from a failure in the goods or service.
(b) We offer refunds and replacements in accordance with Indian Consumer Law.
(c) Indian Consumer Law provides a set of Consumer Guarantees that protect consumers when they purchase products.
(d) If Indian Consumer Law applies, we cannot avoid the Consumer Guarantees it provides. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and Indian Consumer Law, the provisions of Indian Consumer Law will prevail.
(e) If a product you purchased from us has a major failure (as defined under Indian Consumer Law), you may be entitled to a replacement or refund.
(f) If a product you purchased from us has a failure that does not amount to a major failure (as defined under Indian Consumer Law), you may still be entitled to have the goods replaced.
3. Cancellation and Change of Mind
(a) We do not offer refunds if you change your mind or find the same product available elsewhere at a lower price.
4. Products Damaged During Delivery
(a) If the product you ordered has been damaged during delivery:
(i) Please contact us as soon as possible.
(ii) Any damaged product must be returned in the condition in which it was received, along with any packaging and other items that came with the damaged product.
(b) We will arrange to collect the damaged product and either replace it with an equivalent product or provide a refund, provided you have contacted us within 7 days of receiving the product.
5. Exceptions
(a) Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Policy, we may refuse to provide a replacement or refund for a product or service purchased by you if:
• (i) You misused the product in a way that caused the problem.
• (ii) You were aware of the problem(s) with the product or service before purchasing it.
• (iii) You requested a service to be performed in a certain manner, or requested alterations to a product against our advice, or you were unclear about what you wanted.
• (iv) Any other exceptions that apply under Indian Consumer Law.
6. Shipping Costs for Returns
(a) If a product you have purchased fails to meet one or more Consumer Guarantees under Indian Consumer Law, we will bear the cost of shipping the product back to us, as well as any cost of shipping any replacement product to you.
(b) If the returned product can easily be shipped or returned, you are responsible for arranging its return to us. If the product is eligible for a replacement or refund under the terms of this Policy (including under Indian Consumer Law), we will reimburse you for the reasonable postage, shipping, or transportation costs for the returned product.
(c) If we organize and pay for the inspection, postage, shipping, transportation, or collection of a returned product and it turns out not to be eligible for a repair, replacement, or refund under the terms of this Policy (including under Indian Consumer Law), you will be required to pay the costs of any inspection, postage, shipping, transportation, or collection of the returned product.
7. Response Time
(a) Refunds will be credited within 3-5 business days to your original mode of payment after approval.
Return Policy
This Return Policy applies to the online purchase of books from Amigos Book Distributors.

(a) To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
(b) Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product.

3. Shipping Costs for Returns

(b) If you are shipping an item over ₹1,000, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5. Exceptions
